Augusta University Jaguar Alerts is a mass notification system specifically designed to assist universities in disseminating information to students, faculty, staff and designated groups. Augusta University and Augusta University Health uses the Augusta University Jaguar Alerts System to broadcast pertinent information, breaking developments, and response measures, as needed and appropriate.
The Augusta University Jaguar Alerts System is regularly tested and is a vital means of communication across the Enterprise.
Through the Augusta University Jaguar Alerts System, university leaders can send and track messages to four different e-mail addresses and up to ten phone numbers for each person. The system utilizes several methods of communication including: phone, e-mail, and text.
- Voice messages to home, work and cell phones
- Text messages to cell phones (individual text charges from your provider may apply)
- Written messages to e-mail accounts
